It is obvious that the main thing he experienced in relations with neighboring China and Myanmar was that China only applied his country’s foreign policy of “there are no eternal friends, no eternal enemies, only eternal interests”.

After the 2021 coup d’état, China no longer convened a meeting with the head of the military council, “Min Aung Hlaing” China was comforted by the level of the foreign minister.

The Chin Shwe Hao section, which is being attacked by the northern allies, is the route through which 80% of foreign goods are exported, so it has caused a lot of suffering for the military council.

During this period, when the northern alliances and revolutionary forces are gaining military momentum, the Chinese Minister of Security arrived in Nay Pyi Taw and met with the head of the Military Council.

According to the Chinese government’s official press release, the meeting was “only to combat online fraud against Chinese citizens”. Therefore, the northern groups and the closest neighbor (China) want to show that they don’t want to interfere in the matter.

Although they (China) participated in Myanmar’s internal affairs as needed for their interests, it is worth considering whether they pretended to turn a blind eye in this matter and support a good move for the revolutionary forces.

However, due to the usual trade-offs of the military council, I wonder if China will intervene and prevent the Northern Allies from slowing down their military activities. If revolutionary groups can continue at this speed as it is now, it will be auspicious days for the revolutionary forces.

Yours Sincerely,

Clover Leaf
