It is more of inequality among men and women than discrimination. Discrimination against women means not assigning women to different institutions of the government, not because of any flaws or inabilities but just because they are a woman. In Burma, it is a traditional and cultural belief that women have lower status than women. Combing that with religious deception, Burmese society has tendencies to not give women their appropriate respect and opportunity. This is worse in the SAC and military. In the known history of the Burmese Military, most female officers are only in the medical sector and do not have much presence in others. And it is not because of women’s rights but for the wives of the officers. Even then, they have prejudice toward women. Only men can get promotions to Colonel and General and not women even if they have equal skills. In SAC’s regime, they started calling for women soldiers as if they are giving equal rights to women. It was just for show and there are no clear policies for how women will be promoted or which chances or opportunities will be given. It was only in the leader’s mind.
What I want to ask is will he promote women to the commanding officer, tactical operation commander, or division level commander? Or general staff officer or director level?
What is for sure is even if a female officer is capable, they won’t give it to her just because she is a woman. Then he gives you a place that doesn’t matter and where you don’t have the authority. They pretended to be modern and took women, but the conservative army would still discriminate against women because they are women.
It also highlights that the military’s jealousy toward women is even more uncontrollable when they meet with Amay Su. In the ideology of the 21st century, it has been known that women’s rights are important to the development of the country, and the junta remains ignorant and violent, and if the country is handed over to such a naive terrorist group, the fate of the country is unthinkable.
Fighting the junta is also fighting for women’s rights. May SAC fall for the fate of the country and the rights of women.
The revolution must succeed.

Thank for everybody.
