Starting in February 2021, the Myanmar Military driven the coup. Across the country as the public’s anti-protests increased. The Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) movement of employees has also gained strength.

After the coup in 2021, not only the employees of other departments, but also the police and soldiers participated in the non-violent civil disobedience movement CDM.

The soldiers, who could not accept the army’s unjust oppression of the people, leave the army and participate in the CDM. Without the soldiers who are the pillar of the army, the damage will be less and the democracy that the people want will be achieved.

Therefore, people worked hard and encouraged the soldiers to convert. The families of soldiers who left the army left their homes and took shelter along the Myanmar border and in ethnically liberated areas.

Now, when the period of time has been longer than two years, the families of soldiers who have been sheltering in various places along the border area. Basic food items such as rice and oil there is more need in the area of food support.

Now we support for 63 families of CDM soldiers in the border areas and 7 families of CDM soldiers in Karen State, we were able to provide 1 bag of rice, 3 cans of oil and 10 cans of sardine. The total value of Thai baht (42,210 baht) was purchased and provided.

(101) police and army CDM families from a camp on the Indian-Myanmar border and 28 police and army CDM families from a camp in another state were able to support Indian rupees (33,658) to buy rice and oil.

Padauk said the CDM family members are very grateful to the donors for the support of the basic food supplies that the army/police CDM families are in need of.
